1. How do I become a member?

  • Fill out the form on this page
  • Pay £1 (you can pay using PayPal or Credit Card at the bottom of this page, or you can arrange another method with us). 

Your name will be entered into the register in the company file. That’s it, you’re a member!

2. What am I becoming a member of?

In early 2020, Banc Organics relaunched as a Community Interest Company (CIC). A CIC is a special type of limited company which exists to benefit the community, rather than private shareholders.

3. I’d like to offer a donation over £1. Is that possible?

Absolutely! You can specify the amount you wish to pay using the drop down list at the bottom of this page, but the legal minimum all members must pay to join the CIC is £1.

4. How does becoming a member benefit me and the company?

Members vote at the AGM, elect the board, approve the accounts and vote on motions of overall strategy and policy that are put at these meetings. The company is obliged by its articles to elicit support through membership.

5. What Are the member benefits?

You will receive a regular newsletter with details of board meetings and other developments in the company. You will be invited to members-only events such as a farm tour or a shared meal.
